In UX design, it's easy to focus on one niche or toolset. While expertise is valuable, staying within one box can limit your growth and creativity. The best UX designers are adaptable and willing to take on many hats. Your bootcamp may advise you to specialize in UI, research, or IA, but in reality, most employers will look for a combination of all of those - remember, they haven't gone through a bootcamp and don't know the difference between them all. An interview is not typically the best time or place to educate them on the differences so be prepared to describe how you can wear each hat.
