As you learn new techniques, skills, or inspiration, take notes. Our skillset is only as good as our memory. Chances are, if you're not doing something or thinking about it regularly, you'll probably forget it. Keep a notebook handy for you to jot down those golden nuggets while you're learning. Even if it's not relevant now, it might be tomorrow, 6 months from now, or a few years out. Having the words written down will make it much more likely you'll remember it. Plus, writing down our learnings gives us a sense of productivity which can spur you on to learn more.
